The Taste Of Terra 2.0

  • Terroir Tapas 81 Southbourne Grove Bournemouth, England, BH6 3QX United Kingdom (map)

Who are we?

For those of you who don’t know us, we’re nuts about nature! We’ve spent many years (a lifetime for Nikki), learning about the safe and sustainable practices of foraging. Coupled with over 30 years in professional kitchens. We’ve married these passions together to bring you a unique experience. Hopeful to keep your minds, hearts and bellies full.

What will we be doing?

Foraged and live fire pop up at the infamous restaurant, Terroir Tapas, in Southbourne.

Come and join me and Nikki for an educational foraging walk in the beautiful coastal suburb of Southbourne. Helping you to identify new coastal and urban foraging flora. Expect some tasty treats along the way!

From there, we’ll be making our way back to Terroir, where we’ll be greeted with a foraged and sustainable cocktail (non-alcoholic version available).

We’ll be taking you on a foraged culinary journey visiting the meadows, ocean, forest and suburbia. Both Southbourne and Fire cookery are two things very close to Luke’s heart, this event is going to be particularly special.

5% of all proceeds go to local charity grounded who is doing amazing work connecting people back to nature, through growing produce. Amongst many other wonderful projects.

The small stuff, but important stuff...

The price of this menu does include a welcome cocktail, but further drinks are purchasable at the venue.

The event is spaced in one large table to make it as inclusive and fun as possible.

The walk is slow paced, navigating mainly paved terrain. Bring weather appropriate clothing, some comfortable shoes and sun cream.

Feel free to bring along your camera, notepad and pen to take notes.

We do like to take photos of the event. If you disagree with your photos being used for promotional purposes then please let us know after booking.

Cancellations…

To cancel your place(s), we require an absolute minimum of 7 days notice prior to the event date. If you cancel anytime later than this we can not guarantee that we can transfer you to another class. We are happy for you to send someone else in your place and you can pass your ticket to them (you will need to email us in the instance). Given less than 7 days notice we will still attempt to fill your place and if successful, will issue you a voucher to the same value, but make no guarantees that this is always possible.

Refunds…

If you cannot attend an event that you have booked onto and are able to give us the required notice, see above, Volf Wild Foods will issue you a full refund.

We look forward to seeing you soon

Nikki and Luke
