What will we be doing?
Join me and Nikki for a guided foraging walk, helping you to identify wild edibles and their poisonous look-alikes.
We’ll be taking you on a walk along the coastline of Poole (Holes Bay). This particular environment has a whole host plants, trees and sometimes fungi to identify.
We’ll stop briefly half way through for a foraged picnic to keep those bellies and hearts full. We would advise bringing your own drinks though.
Stuff you should know…
There is a toilet at the beginning and end of our walk.
The walk is slow paced, navigating mainly paved terrain. Some of the pathways are graveled, please take this in mind.
Bring weather appropriate clothing and some comfortable shoes.
Feel free to bring along your camera, notepad and pen to take notes.
Where to meet us?
Meet us to the left of the public toilets at Upton Country Park, carpark at 12pm. Doesn’t sound very romantic. But, we can all get a pitstop in before heading off on our walk. Picture below. We’ll be wearing our Volf jumpers so you can see us.
We will set off at 12pm to make it fair on everyone. But, if you’re running late please give us a call on 07496425111.
(Due to the small nature of this event, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements. Though please drop us an email if you wish to know which allergens each dish contains).
The small stuff...
A photographer will be documenting this event. If you disagree with your photos being used for promotional purposes then please let us know after booking.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
