VOLF x Modern Times x Chaplins

A fantastic opportunity to join us for an evening discussing all things fermented + a wild cheese board.

Nestled into the private dining space of Modern Times & Chaplins, ‘The Cog Room’, we’ll be taking you on a journey of fermentation. Fermentation is very much a part of Nikki’s culture, it’s a way of life. Something growing increasingly popular in British culture. And why not? It’s great for the wallet and your gut!

In this class you’ll be making your own kimchi, with flavours of your choice, to take away and enjoy. We will also have some wild ingredients to add if you choose, keeping your gut biome and nature happy.

We’ll then divulge in the overlord of all ferments, cheese! Accompanied by seeded crackers, made by yours truly. And, a selection of foraged tracklements. Plus, a kombucha on the rocks.

From here, we’ll be learning all about Kombucha, passing on all the knowledge that we’ve learned over the years. And, touching on how to make your own zero-effort vinegars from this process.

There’s so much more to this class than we could possibly encapsulate in word form. So come and join us for an evening of fun, in a beautiful setting and let us impart years of knowledge onto your consciousness.

The small stuff, but important stuff... 

The price of this menu does include a welcome kombucha, any further drinks are purchasable at Parlourmentary. The venue does have an alcohol licence.

The cheeseboard menu is adaptable for a vegetarian diet. Unfortunately, at this event we are unable to cater for vegans.

Cancellations…

To cancel your place(s), we require an absolute minimum of 7 days notice prior to the event date. If you cancel anytime later than this we can not guarantee that we can transfer you to another class. We are happy for you to send someone else in your place and you can pass your ticket to them (you will need to email us in the instance). Given less than 7 days notice we will still attempt to fill your place and if successful, will issue you a voucher to the same value, but make no guarantees that this is always possible.

Refunds…

If you cannot attend an event that you have booked onto and are able to give us the required notice, see above, Volf Wild Foods will issue you a full refund.
